Revealing the four 1

Now let’s start unravelling what makes up the quadruple. We will begin with ‘G’.

G represents Georgette, a stubborn member of the GEED. In my opinion I think G is troublesome and has all the emotional issues. Lol. She likes picking up petty quarrels with other members of the group and she is very revengeful. If you hit G once, expect her to hit you back. I think her motto is ‘no mercy for the cripple’. Because she will make sure she pays you back in your own coins and probably add some notes to it hehe.

She seems to love having issues with everyone, probably except the ‘headie’ (we will talk about her later), maybe because the ‘headie’ won’t give a damn about her issues. 

On the other side, G is the ‘lighter’ of the group. She can light the group with laughter and smiles by her experienced and talented joking. She has this skill or talent that I admire so much – the ability to imitate people in their exact manner. She can speak in the same voice and dramatize any of us exactly as we are. 

Anytime I see her in that element of imitating, I just say to myself that damn, this girl is a talented joker and so shouldn’t waste her time in school, wanting to be some IT guru lol. Aside her talented gift of joking, she has another talent. I think she is a professional p…..  hehe and does that with so much skill. And she figure say she be the ‘don’. But I wanna prove to her that I can be ‘don’ pass her lol.

I must say that I started off with her on a very tough and rough note. I didn’t like her one bit (honestly) and I don’t even know why, maybe she does. But I think it was because I didn’t understand her and I was not ready to understand her too. I felt she was a nuisance to the GEED and so decided to fight her in every way. She equally picked up the challenge to fight back and ‘headie’ always had to intervene and shut us up. It was really rough with.

And just as nature does, some way somehow, G has become a favourite girl. I donno how or when she became my favourite but she is now! Maybe it’s after our fufu pounding escapade or? Well I donno!

G and I are sooooo cool now and we can talk endlessly about anything. We can even plan our ‘don’ things together hehe.

For a truth, without G, there can be no GEED. And I wanna use this opportunity to appreciate her and her presence in our lives. 

We love you soooo much G……

Purple Birthday

My excitement kept growing that at a point i thought i will explode out of excitement as my birthday approached. Deep within i felt some joy that i don't remember ever feeling when  my birthday was approaching. As to why or what i was excited about, i cant tell. All i knew was that, my birthday was gonna be special. I woke up in the morning, determined not to remind my family about my birthday cuz i always did. I picked up my phone and switched my mobile data on as i usually put it off before sleeping (thanks to the Yellow mobile network that 'steals' your credits even when the phone hasn't been touched for hours...lol) and read a message from my lil sis who was sleeping ryt next to me, wishing me a happy birthday. I smiled at her and replied, thanking her for starting my day ryt. I picked a dress out of my wardrobe and leaped to go and iron it so that the lights do not betray me. Fun at the lorry station

A magnitude of fun burst out among numerous young boys and girls all over. Some chasing each other and others teasing and pulling the clothes of the other. These young boys are probably driver’s mates. The ones who have a touch of romance are seen trying to talk to the young girls who are selling one thing or the other in a pan on their hands. Some try to position the items in the pan properly for the young girls; all to score some romantic points...lol One thing you cannot fathom is what these young boys and girls are happy about. It’s an early morning at the lorry station with a lot of activities all over. Everybody is engaged in one thing or the other; calling out the names of the towns/ cities the vehicles are going to, pulling the clothes and hands of prospective passengers to climb on a particular vehicle, selling items your mind could imagine; from pepper to phones, preaching the word of God, selling songs on pen drives, etc. Despite all of these, the young boys and girl...
