Walking Away...
Walking is
actually not something most people like to do even if the distance is just a
stone throw away. Except on occasions where you are in the group of people or
friends and are chit chatting, laughing and teasing, does walking become
desirable.
Walking gets
extra annoying when the trotro pulls up at the point where you don’t intend to
get down but you are forced to because the driver says he won’t stop again…lol
So is walking
away from some life choices or events or things that you believed so much that
they will work out or be a success.
Right before
going to bed, you think, plan and strategize what to do the next day and commit
them into the hands of God. You wake up in the morning full of the previous
day’s plans and with so much strength for execution during the day, but then you
turn out to walk away from those plans painfully with an unachievable result.
Walking away
especially from ‘great’ ideas, plans, friendships or relationships might be
very sad, painful, and difficult but when you weigh the results or outcome of
the thing you are walking away from and you realize that the result is much
more painful, then you should be able to walk away with some pride and aura of positivity.
In moments as
this, you should be able to walk away patting your shoulders and telling yourself
that it is the right thing to do. You should be able to walk away telling
yourself that you tried to make ‘success’ but it didn’t happen and so you are
walking away to the other ‘success’. You should walk away having learnt your
lessons well in order to apply to the next ‘success’.
When the road
hits a stop and the journey ends, you should be wise and discerning enough to
know and WALK AWAY…
